Gymnastics Finishes Up Home Action With 194.350 Against UNH

PHILADELPHIA – Finishing out the home slate Thursday night at The Palestra, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team recorded a score of 194.350, falling to New Hampshire (194.850) in a rematch from earlier in the season.
 
The Quakers fall to 10-11 on the season while the Wildcats improve to 13-6.
 
VAULT | Penn 48.925, UNH 48.250
Two Quakers recorded 9.8's and above as Kiersten Belkoff scored a 9.875 to lead the way. Ariyana Agarwala tallied a 9.800 to finish second out of the group. Rose DeBarberie scored a 9.775, followed by Skyelar Kerico (9.750), Marissa Lassiter (9.725) and Campbell Marr (9.700).
 
BARS | UNH 49.100, Penn 48.875
Kristen Kuhn put together a wonderful performance on uneven bars with a score of 9.875 to lead the team. McCaleigh Marr started off her night with a 9.825 while Sara Kenefick got on the board with her 9.750. Kerico finished off her evening with a 9.725 on bars with Lassiter getting a 9.700. Carly Oniki scored an 8.950 to finish out the rotation.
 
BEAM | Penn 48.900, UNH 48.775
It was another strong meet on balance beam for the Quakers with three more scores of 9.8 and above. Belkoff led off the rotation with a score of 9.825 while Kuhn tallied the same score with Alisha Werlen (9.800) backing her up. Alyssa Rosen scored a 9.750, Campbell Marr a 9.700 and a 9.050 for McCaleigh Marr.
 
FLOOR | UNH 48.725, Penn 47.650
Emma Davies led the way with her team-high score of 9.825, while Rosen finished with a 9.675, Belkoff scoring a 9.600. Oniki scored a 9.575, followed by teammates Lassiter (8.975) and Sara Kenefick (8.675).
 
Quaker Notemeal
*Kiersten Belkoff finished the meet first overall on vault with her 9.875.
*Kristen Kuhn won the uneven bars title with a 9.875.
*Belkoff and Kuhn also tied for second on beam (9.825).
*Alisha Werlen finished in a tie for fourth in that event (9.800).
*Emma Davies claimed the floor title with her high score of 9.825.
*Penn's performance on vault (48.925) was good for its fourth-best score in that event in program history.
 
Up Next
It's a quick turnaround for both Penn and UNH, who will head south to College Park for Maryland's Terp Quad on Sunday featuring both the Terrapins and Brown as well.
