Scouting the opponents
Princeton's 2022-23 schedule has featured a multitude of ranked opponents and while most of the Tiger's duals have been close they have just one win over a ranked opponent on the season. The Tigers are coming off a 1-1 weekend in which they lost a 32-7 dual at #5 Cornell and bounced back with a 28-10 victory at Binghamton on Sunday. The Tigers picked up two victories in Ithaca as #32 Nate Dugan earned a 4-3 decision over Jonathan Loew and Patrick Glory won by major decision over #8 Brett Unger. Princeton and Binghamton went back-and-forth through the first five bouts with neither team holding more than a four-point advantage. #3 Quincy Monday won by fall over Carter Baer to give the visitors a 16-7 advantage that they would never relinquish.

Drexel is currently on an eight-match win streak that began with a 19-13 win over Utah Valley at the Purdue Duals. The Dragons earned wins over George Mason (28-13), LIU (31-6) and Hofstra (19-16) last weekend. Drexel won 14 of 20 bouts between wins over George Mason and LIU with six bonus points wins including four by fall. After losing both opening bouts by decision the Dragons bounced back with bonus point wins in the second bout as they took leads they would never give up. Drexel earned its eighth-straight win with a close victory at Hofstra. After losing the opening three bouts and seeing Hofstra take a 10-0 lead, Drexel used a pair of major decision wins and a tech fall to 13-10 lead and earned all the team point they needed with decision wins at 174 and 184. The Dragons are slated to face Army on Friday night.
