PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team held its annual postseason banquet Saturday at the Inn at Penn.
 
Twelve honors were handed out, including Steven Hollopeter Award for Academic Excellence, awarded for the first time.
 
The major award of the night, the Lt. Charles Schmucker Award, was given to defensive standouts Jake Inserra and Cam Janock.
 
Richard Schnall Award - Most Improved Offensive Player: Paul Tjoumakaris
Danny Harrell Award - Most Improved Defensive Player: Stephen Chen and Ryan Horvath
Thomas Stilwell Award - Most Outstanding Freshman: Josh Johnson
Ralph Roesler Special Teams Award: Adrian Montemayor
Paul Mitchell Award - Most Valuable Defensive Lineman: Cam Janock and Matt McKillop
Robert Mongeluzzi Award - Defensive Back/Linebacker: Jake Inserra
Tim Ortman Award - Running Back/Wide Receiver: Tom Rebstock
Dan Doheny Award - Offensive Lineman: Luke Pajovich
Benjamin F. Wagner Spirit Award: Alex Schrier and Tom Rebstock
Wagner Cup: Peyton Akiba, Gavin Griswold, Cam Janock, Jordan Ortiz and Luke Pajovich
Steven Hollopeter Academic Excellence Award: Jaxson Nield and Kush Addepalli
Lt. Charles Schmucker Ideal Sprint Football Player Award: Jake Inserra and Cam Janock
