PHILADELPHIA – The nationally ranked University of Pennsylvania wrestling team moved up in the polls after winning three bouts against #3 Iowa at The Palestra last week.
 
Penn is currently ranked #20 in the InterMat poll after giving the Hawkeyes a fight in a 22-13 battle, with the Red and Blue's 13 points coming from #8 Michael Colaiocco, #11 Nick Incontrera, and #30 Maximus Hale's wins.
 
Max Gallagher (125), Colaiocco (133), CJ Composto (141), Kelly Dunnigan (149), Jude Swisher (157), Incontrera (174), Hale (184), Martin Cosgrove (197) all kept their spots in the FloWrestling and Intermat rankings this week after tough battles against in the dual meet opener. Senior Colaicco moved up three spots from last week, while Hale shifted up two spots in the Intermat poll thanks to their wins over the Hawkeyes. 
 
The Quakers are off till Dec. 29, when they head to the Windy City for the Midlands Championships hosted by Northwestern.
