How It Happened
From the start, Penn had a commanding hold on the game, keeping the ball out of the Mountain Hawks' reach until the ten-minute mark when Perry Kingson attempted Lehigh's only shot of the half that soared high above Christoffersen's net.

The Quaker offense got to work after the missed shot as Leo Burney and Curran tallied back-to-back shots on the bottom right corner of the net in the 12th and 13th minutes. teDuits attempted one on net in the 15th minute that was saved, but a few minutes later, he snuck one past Lehigh's Blake Koski in the 18th minute to push the Quakers ahead 1-0.

teDuits' goal set a pace for Penn's offense, as Stas Korzeniwoski put a shot on net in the 26th minute, and Burney attempted again to put one in the Mountain Hawks' goal with a header, but Koski grabbed it out of the air before it could go in. Erickson Sakalosky got the final shot on goal in the first half that was saved just shy of the bottom right corner during the 37th minute to keep Penn's lead at 1-0.

The Quakers kept their momentum going entering the second half, as Curran scored his second goal of the season and the second of the game in the 52nd minute off a pass from Oliver Pratt.

Penn kept applying pressure offensively as junior Charlie Gaffney tried to get one past Koski in the 54th minute. Jack Wagoner attempted one a little later with about 28 minutes on the clock, but it was saved just like Gaffney's.

During the 67th minute, Korzeniowski shot one at the bottom left of the net that was saved by Lehigh's goalkeeper. Luckily, Hewes was there to clean up the rebound and score his fifth goal of the year to lengthen the lead to 3-0.

The goals kept coming as Seele scored his first collegiate goal in the 77th minute off an assist from Jeremiah to extend the lead to four goals.

The Mountain Hawks' second and final offensive attempt came with about nine minutes left of the game, but it was kicked past the net before it could do any potential damage to Christoffersen's clean sheet.

With three minutes left of the match, Zazueta put the nail in the casket, scoring the Quakers' fifth and final goal of the game.
