PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the second consecutive game, the University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team recorded a draw after battling Brown to a 0-0 tie on Saturday night at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

Tonight's game was all about the goalkeepers, as six combined shots on goal were saved. Senior Nick Christoffersen captured four shots, while Brown's Hudson Blatteis grabbed two to force this game to a draw. How It Happened
The first 20 minutes of the game were fairly quiet for Penn's offense, but the defense was busy as the Bears had five shots between the eighth and 21st minutes. The first shot on goal in the game came from Brown's Lorenzo Amaral, who aimed one towards the center of the net, but Christoffersen was quick to scoop it up. The Toronto, Ontario, native leaped into the air during the 20th minute to rob the Bears of a goal to keep the game tied.

Around the 25th minute, Brown's goalkeeper Blatteis was out of his net, giving Korzeniowski a good shot at scoring. The junior was eventually triple-teamed before he could make an attempt on goal. Two minutes later, Zazueta nailed one off a free kick at the Bears' net, but it was snatched up before any additional Quakers could try and clean up the rebound.

With less than five minutes left in the first half, Oliver Pratt mustered the last offensive attempt of the period for both teams but the ball soared to the left to keep the game tied at 0-0 after 45 minutes.

The first offensive attempt of the second half came in the 57th minute as Korzeniowski got wrapped up with a defender, which resulted in a penalty kick for Penn. Ultimately, the Bears' netminder saved the kick to keep the game tied at zero.

Brown caught a spark after Korzeniowski's PK, attempting four straight shots between the 62nd and 80th minutes. Two of the shots were stopped by Christoffersen, as the goalkeeper saved one lower center in the 65th minute and another lower left corner during the 80th minute.

With a little more than a minute left in the game, Brown's Tanner Barry slammed a shot that luckily went over the net. With 22 seconds left on the clock and at the other end of the field, Aaron Messer tried to head one on net but the ball ended up going wide to hold the game at its 0-0 draw.
