PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's men's squash team, #2 in the College Squash Association (CSA) rankings, opens Ivy League play this weekend with a road match Friday against No. 8 Cornell and a home match Sunday against No. 9 Columbia.
Previewing Penn
Penn finished the first half of the season 8-0 with five top 15 wins, running their regular season winning streak to 29 dating back to the 2019-20 season. The Quakers defeated No. 16 Franklin and Marshall, No. 11 Western, No. 15 Tufts, and No. 11 Rochester all by 9-0 scores, adding a 7-2 win over No. 7 Drexel.
Reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year
Nathan Kueh is 8-0, all wins coming at the #1, #2, and #3 spots in the lineup.
Rehan Luthra is 7-0 and
Saksham Choudhary is 7-1, while the trio of
Shaam Gambhir,
Oliver Green, and
Omar Hafez are all 6-0. In all, 11 players have at least four wins for the Red and Blue.
