PHILADELPHIA – The preseason rankings for the upcoming 2022-23 season have been released and Penn Wrestling is ranked #15 by Intermat. Nine Quakers are ranked individually. This includes four in the top fifteen. As a team, Penn is currently ranked in three national top 25 rankings. The Quakers are ranked #16 in WrestleStat. Rankings are from FloWrestling, Intermat, and WrestleStat.

Seniors Anthony Artalona (149), Doug Zapf (157), and Ben Goldin (285), juniors Michael Colaiocco (133), CJ Composto (141), Lucas Revano (165), and Cole Urbas (197), and sophomores Ryan Miller (125) and Nick Incontrera (174) are all ranked heading into the 2022-23 season.

Composto leads the group with a number four ranking by Intermat. Zapf, Artalona, and M. Colaiocco also received top-15 rankings. These ranked student-athletes are poised to build on last year's success and excited to continue Penn Wrestling's impressive movement up the national ladder at the NCAA Championships being held in Tulsa, Oklahoma in March.
