TULSA, Okla. – Four members from the University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team will head to the Sooner State this weekend for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships.
Edoardo Graziani,
Kevin Zhu,
Harsh Parikh, and
Aditya Gupta will all compete on the singles side, while Graziani and Zhu will team up and compete in doubles as well.
Graziani, the No. 31-ranked player in the ITA's preseason rankings, has been selected directly to the main draw, scheduled to begin October 5. Gupta, the No. 102-ranked player in the preseason rankings, and Zhu will both compete in the qualifying draw, scheduled to start on October 3. Parikh will begin competition on October 1 in the pre-qualifying draw. Last year, Zhu opened play in pre-qualifying, winning three matches and advancing to the qualifying draw.
Graziani and Zhu, the No. 20-ranked doubles team in the preseason rankings, will open action in the main draw on October 5. The pair also teamed up at last year's All-Americans, winning two matches in the qualifying draw.
