Men's Tennis Knocks Off William & Mary, 4-1, For Third Straight Win

NORFOLK, Va. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team went 4-0 in singles action on Sunday, picking up a commanding 4-1 victory over The College of William and Mary for its third straight win and 12th victory of the Spring.

The Tribe took the early doubles point, but the Quakers closed out singles play early with four straight wins. Aditya Gupta put Penn on the board with a near double bagel 6-1, 6-0 win. Harsh Parikh and Kevin Zhu followed with identical 6-1, 6-3 wins, putting Penn up 3-1.

A day after capturing the win for Penn in the winner-take-all match against Old Dominion, Edoardo Graziani again sealed the win for the Quakers with a 6-3, 6-3 win at the #1 spot. Baylor Sai was one game shy of a straight victory of his own playing at #6 when the remaining matches in-progress were halted following Graziani's match-clinching win.
