PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team hosted Saint Joseph's and NJIT on Friday at the Hecht Tennis Center. The Quakers improved to 3-1 on the season following a 7-0 win over the Hawks and a 5-2 victory over NJIT.
Penn claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. The Quakers would sweep their way to victory in singles as five of the six courts went two sets.
Clarise Huang was the only one to go three sets as she won the third set after falling in the second set.
The Quakers proceeded to claim a second victory on the day as they defeated NJIT, 5-2. Penn swept its way to the doubles points claiming victories on all three courts. The Red and Blue picked up singles wins by
