PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Pennsylvania's #8 men's (12-12) and #11 women's (16-10) fencing teams completed action at the 2022 Ivy League Round-Robins Sunday evening. The men finished third, while the women finished tied for fourth, with eight Quakers in all finishing among the top six in their respective weapon, earning All-Ivy honors.

Eight Quakers in all claimed All-Ivy honors, including three First Team selections: Eliot Herbst, Amber White and Chloe Daniel. Daniel earned her second First Team honor, following her 2020 selection.

Herbst took the top spot in men's epee, winning nine of 12 bouts over the weekend. White and Daniel both won 14 of 18 bouts, with White finishing third in women's sabre and Daniel finishing second in women's epee

Emon Daroian, a 2019 and 2020 First Team honoree in men's epee, earned Second Team recognition after finishing tied for sixth. Jessica Liang, a fellow 2020 First Team member, earned a Second Team selection after also tying for sixth in women's epee. Blake Broszus (fourth place), Bryce Louie (T-sixth) and Eric Yu (T-sixth) all earned Second Team recognition in men's foil.

After finishing the first day of the round-robins 2-1, the women went 1-2 on Sunday, sandwiching a 15-12 win over #4 Cornell in-between a pair of 15-12 losses to #5 Harvard and #10 Yale.

The men split their two contests for the second straight day, picking up a win over #11 Yale and falling to #2 Columbia by identical 16-11 scores.
