PHILADELPHIA – The #2-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team moved to 8-0 on the season with a 9-0 win over No. 13 Chatham Sunday from the Penn Squash Center.
Dana Santry opened things with a bang, wrapping his 3-0 win in just 20 minutes, the quickest match of the day.
Saksham Choudhary and
Nathan Kueh followed with a pair of 3-0 victories, putting Penn up 3-0 barely 30 minutes into the match.
Rehan Luthra dropped the third game of his match, but responded with a commanding 11-1 win in the fourth to close out his 3-1 win.
Oliver Green,
Nick Spizzirri, and
Omar Hafez picked up the fifth, sixth, and seventh points of the day with 3-0 wins.
Shaam Gambhir grinded out a five-game win, rallying from 2-1 down, and
Tushar Shahani closed out the day's action with a 3-0 win.
The Quakers return to action on January 13 at Noon against Cornell in Ithaca.
