HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 24 University of Pennsylvania field hockey team concluded its trip to Connecticut on Sunday with an afternoon clash with Quinnipiac, dropping a 2-0 decision.

How It Happened
The first 30 minutes saw some solid defensive fronts, keeping the scoreboard blank for the half. Both teams had six shots each, but the keepers reeled in a combined six saves including four for Wollaert.

After the halftime break, it was the Bobcats that broke the scoring silence, finding the back of the cage three minutes into the restart off a deflected save by Wollaert.

In the final frame, Penn got off three more shots, looking to draw the game even. However, it was Quinnipiac that pushed its lead to two with less than two minutes left in the game.
