PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team surged past visiting Brown, 179-121, on Saturday afternoon at Sheerr Pool.
The Quakers (2-1, 1-1) won 11 events against their Ancient Eight rival. For the third straight meet, the quartet of
Hannah Kannan,
Jenessa Schwarz,
Vanessa Chong and
Margot Kaczorowski won the 200 medley relay.
Lia Thomas had another big day for the Red and Blue, winning the 1,000 free (9:48.93), 200 free (1:51.96) and the 500 free (4:46.41).
Margot Kaczorowski and
Anna Boeckman both won a pair individual events for the Quakers. Kaczorowski touched first in the 50 free (23.88) and 100 free (51.29) while Boeckman earned victories in the 200 breast (2:20.38) and the 200 IM (2:06.42).
