BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania women's cross country team competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship on Friday afternoon on the Goodman campus of Lehigh University, collecting a 10th place finish with 307 points out of 27 teams.

Senior captain
Ariana Gardizy posted an All-Region performance, leading the Quaker pack for 22
nd with a time of 21:07.9 on the 6K course. Her finish was two seconds faster than her Ivy Heps 6K time from two weeks ago, marking a new season-best time for Gardizy.

Lizzy Bader came in about 30 seconds behind Gardizy, crossing the finish line in 42nd with a time of 21:38.4. Senior
Niamh Hayes (22:17.7) and sophomore
Fabianna Szorenyi (22:31.1) posted sub-23 times for 71st and 81st, respectively, while sophomore
Olivia Morganti earned 91st with a time of 22:40.0.
