The Series with Brown
The margin between the Quakers and Bears has been razor-thin for more than a decade. Each of their last 11 contests have been draws or one-goal decisions, with six of the last seven going to overtime or double overtime.
In 12 matches since 2008, each side has five wins to go with a pair of draws. All-time, Brown holds a 33-25-8 advantage.
About Brown
The Bears ended their four-match winless streak with a 3-2 win Wednesday night over Holy Cross and will be seeking their first winning streak of the season Saturday afternoon; they're 4-8-1 on the year, 1-2-1 in Ivy play.
Brown's 13 matches have been a near-even split regarding its offensive output, scoring two goals or more in six matches, and one goal or fewer in seven matches.
Derek Waleffe is Brown's leading scorer with eight goals, 40 percent of the team's total for the season, and ranks second in the conference in goals per match (.667).
