PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's cross country team earned a six-place finish at the Penn State National on Friday, scoring 151 points in the 16-team field.

Senior captain
Ariana Gardizy paced the Quakers, finishing 14th on the 6K course with a time of 21:24.8.
Olivia Morganti (21:40.3) and
Fabianna Szorenyi (21:55.0) ran sub-22 minute races for 22nd and 30th, respectively, while
Niamh Hayes and
Zoe Shetty came through in 35th and 54th, in that order.

Phoebe White and
Lizzy Bader finished out the Penn scoring in 73rd and 88th.

The Quakers take the next two weeks to prepare for the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, taking place in Princeton, N.J., on Saturday, October 30 at 11 a.m.
