Previewing Penn
The Quakers enter the Potter Cup on a hot streak, having won five consecutive matches, including the last four by a 9-0 score. It has been another historic season for the Quakers, who have maintained the #3 ranking the entire season, as well as setting a new program high in single season shutout victories with nine.
Hoping to continue the success of their 9-0 win against the Bulldogs on February 2nd, the Quakers are once again led into the Potter Cup by the unanimous first-team All-Ivy duo of
Andrew Douglas and
Aly Abou Eleinen. The two of them are the first Quakers duo to be named first-team All-Ivy in back-to-back seasons since Stewart Ballard and David Proctor in 1986 and 1987.
For seniors
David Yacobucci and
Wil Hagen, it will be the final opportunity to win the Potter Cup. Yacobucci has tallied five individual wins over his first three Potter Cups, while Hagen has tallied three. Both will be looking to add more wins to their resume, while Yacobucci has an opportunity to finish his career with 50 wins if he goes 3-0.

Previewing the Bulldogs
For the second straight season in the Potter Cup, the Quakers will open the event against Yale. Last season, the Quakers won 8-1 in the 4/5 matchup and now the teams meet again in the 3/6 matchup. The Bulldogs enter the Potter Cup on a slight skid, having lost three of their last four matches. Despite the losses, the Bulldogs are primed to face the nation's best, having lost those three matches to the Quakers, as well as #1 Harvard and #4 Princeton. Led by first-team All-Ivy Spencer Lovejoy, the Bulldogs will attempt to improve on last season's fifth place finish and record their third straight season of improvement at the Potter Cup.
Potter Cup Information
The Potter Cup serves as the premier event in men's collegiate squash, with the top eight teams competing for a national championship. Each team plays three matches regardless of results, with the completed matches serving to reseed each of the eight programs at the end of the year. Should the Quakers win the opening match, they would face the winner of #2 Trinity and #7 Virginia. Should they lose, the Quakers will play the loser of the match.
