Men's Squash to Battle #2 Trinity in College Squash Headliner

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's men's squash team (7-1, 1-1) enters the weekend fresh off their fifth 9-0 victory of the season over #11 Dartmouth and travels to Hartford, Connecticut for a matchup against #2 Trinity (10-0). The two teams will lock horns on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Previewing Penn
Fresh off another 9-0 victory, the Quakers enter the weekend matchup against Trinity at 7-1 and ranked #3 in the country. The last time the two teams met, the Quakers suffered a tight 6-3 defeat at the hands of Trinity and are looking to defeat the Bantams for the first time since the 1996 Potter Cup.

The Quakers fifth 9-0 victory on Sunday continues one of the best starts in program history. If the Red and Blue defeat Trinity, it would secure an undefeated 7-0 non-conference schedule for the first time since the 1990-91 season, when the Quakers went 4-0 out of conference and finished in 4th place in the Potter Cup.

The matchup against Trinity will also provide an opportunity for Andrew Douglas and Yash Bhargava to earn their 35th career wins. The junior duo has been incredibly efficient over their Penn careers, with winning percentages over .720 and double-digit victories each season.

#3 Penn at #2 Trinity – Saturday, 11:00 a.m.
Series Information
Records: Penn trails 29-7 | Last Meeting: January 26, 2019 (Trinity, 6-3)

Previewing the Bantams
The Bantams enter the matchup undefeated and having defeated #7 Rochester and #10 Columbia earlier in the week. The team has only dropped a meager four individual matches over 10 games. At the top of the lineup is one of the best freshmen in the country, Finnish National Champion Miko Aijanen, as well as senior Michael Craig, who returns to Trinity after missing all last season and with whom the Quakers know very well.
