HANOVER, N.H. – The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team (5-2, 1-1) recovered from a Saturday loss to pick up its first Ivy League win of the season, defeating #11 Dartmouth (1-4, 0-3) by a final score of 7-2 on Sunday.
The Quakers came out of the gate a little slowly, losing their first two matches. However,
Navmi Sharma ignited a terrific rally, taking a four-game thriller and inspiring a Quaker comeback. Her and the other freshman combined to go 4-0 and aided the Quakers victory dramatically.
Several Quakers battled back in difficult situations to give the team a much-needed victory.
Euwie Park gave up a 2-0 lead and was down 5-7 in the final game before storming back to win the next six points and take the match.
Jessica Davis also recovered from an 0-1 deficit to win a critical game against her talented opponent by a final score of 3-1.
Continuing her terrific start to the season,
Amina Abou El Enin picked up another win to improve to 7-0. El Enin joins Saksham Choudhary as one of two remaining Penn Squash players to win every match this season.

The Quakers return to action on January 18, as they travel to face the #2 team in the country in Trinity. The ladies return home on January 29, when they face the #3 Princeton Tigers in a return to Ivy League play.
