PENN IN THE IVY TOURNAMENT
*The Quakers are making their seventh appearance in the 10-year-old Ivy League Tournament, the others coming in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018.

*Penn won the 2014 ILT in Cambridge, Mass. The third-seeded Quakers defeated No. 2 Cornell in the semifinal, 11-10—overcoming a 10-7 deficit in the fourth quarter—then held host and No. 1 seed Harvard scoreless for an astounding 44:58 of game time en route to a 7-5 win in the championship game.

*Penn lost in the semifinal round the other five times. That includes 2017's 4OT epic with Yale.

THE PENN-BROWN SERIES
*The Quakers are 23-34 all-time against Brown, including a 16-9 win in Providence this season.

*Penn has not played Brown in previous Ivy League Tournament appearances.

*The win in early April was the first for the Penn seniors who had dropped the previous three. Prior to that three-game skid, the Quakers had won three in a row.

*Adam Goldner scored six times in Providence on April 6 to lead the Quakers to a 16-9 win. Sam Handley factored in on six goals, scoring twice and dishing out four assists. Reed Junkin made 15 saves in goal, including seven in the first quarter as Penn worked only a 3-2 lead after 15:00.

STREAKING INTO MAY
The Quakers enter the postseason riding a nine-game winning streak, tied for longest in the nation alongside No. 1 Penn State. Ironically, Penn State started its nine-game winning streak with a win over the Quakers and Penn has not lost since its defeat in Happy Valley. Nine consecutive wins is tied for the second-longest streak all-time by a Penn team. Penn won nine in a row over parts of the 1964-65 seasons and won 12 in a row in 1984.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER
Penn has earned a No. 3 national ranking in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll entering May, tying the program record for highest ranking in the Coaches Poll. The Quakers were also ranked No. 3 for the final two polls of the 1984 season. The Quakers were unranked at the beginning of the 2019 season.

6-0!
The Quakers went 6-0 in the Ivy League for the first time since 1984. The six Ivy League wins this season match Penn's total from each of the last two seasons combined.

SIMON SAYS... HE'S A TEWAARATON NOMINEE!
Senior Simon Mathias is 1 of 25 players nominated for the Tewaaraton Award. He was joined on the Watch List for the award by Adam Goldner and Sam Handley.

MATHIAS MAKES HIS POINT
Simon Mathias has played in 55 career games and he has at least one point in every one of those games — the second-longest active streak in the country. Mathias has at least one goal in 32 straight games — tied for the longest active streak in the country.

THE GOLD STANDARD
Adam Goldner, more like Adam GOALdner! The junior attackman enters the weekend with 46 career goals, surpassing the previous Penn record of 44 set by John Shoemaker in 1987. He has 2+ goals in all 12 games this season, and he has at least one goal in 21 consecutive games.

DYNAMIC DUO
Between Mathias (32) and Goldner (21) the Red and Blue are the only team in the country with multiple players riding consecutive goal-scoring streaks of 15 or more games.

GALLAGHER'S GREATEST HITS
Kyle Gallagher has been dominating at the X, winning 203 of 319 FOs (.636) and picking up 120 ground balls. He has four games with 20+ wins, and he was all but even with Yale's TD Ierlan in Penn's win over the defending champs, winning 14 of 29.

SAM THE MAN
Freshman Sam Handley has set a new Penn record for points in a season by a rookie with his 53 — bypassing the previous record of 42 set by John Ward in 1995. Handley has 31 goals this season, two away from tying Ward for most in a season by a newcomer.

SNIPE CITY
Penn is closing in a new program record for goals in a season. The Quakers have scored 183 goals in 12 games this season, five away from tying the 1988 team which scored 188 times over 15 games. Penn's 15.25 goals per game rank No. 2 in the Ivy League and No. 3 in the country.
