HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 1
The Knights got on the board first as a pair of ground outs with runners in scoring position gave FDU a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Penn tied the game in the second inning. Larsen doubled to get on base and O'Neill doubled on the next at-bat to bring him home. Jackson Petersen hit a single up the middle later in the inning to plate O'Neill and tie the game.

The Quakers went in front in the fourth inning. O'Neill got on base with a two-out single to center field. A hood single put runners on first and second. Malinowski then singled through the left side, allowing O'Neill to round third and give Penn a 3-2 lead.

Penn added to its lead in the sixth, again getting the offense going with two outs. Petersen got on base with a single to left field, then McGeagh singled to right to put runners on first and second. Courtney made it 5-2 as a double deep to center field brought both baserunners home.

Holcomb pitched his final full frame in the sixth, continuing to shut down the FDU offense. The junior allowed one leadoff hit, then retired the next three batters to send Penn into the final inning of the game.

The Quakers added on three insurance runs in the top of the seventh, and for the third time in the game started scoring with two outs. O'Neill got on base with a single to center and scored after a Hood double to left field.

Malinowski hit his third triple of the season, smacking a ball up the first base line to bring Hood home. The sophomore scored to give Penn an 8-2 lead after a McGeagh single to center.

The Knights tacked on three runs in the bottom of the frame but could not complete the comeback as Dylan Mulvihill came in and forced the final two outs.

HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 2
FDU once again struck first, as an RBI single put the Knights on the board in the first inning. Penn tied the game in the next frame as a Malinowski double to center field plated Larsen to make it 1-1.

The Quakers took the lead in the third inning. Hernandez got things going with a double and scored as Phelan doubled through the left side to give Penn a 2-1 lead. The Knights leveled the game again in the bottom of the fourth as back-to-back doubles locked the teams at two runs each.

Penn's offense exploded in the fifth. The Quakers scored eight runs in the frame—their most runs scored in a single inning this season.

Phelan drove in the first two runs of the inning as a bases-loaded single by the senior captain brought Hernandez and Courtney home. Larsen loaded the bags again after being hit by a pitch. O'Neill made it 5-2 after an RBI single to left, and Hood tacked on two more after a double to left plated Phelan and Larsen.

Malinowski made it 9-2 with a two-RBI triple to right field. The triple was Malinowski's fourth of the season and second of the day. McGeagh brought the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year home with a double to center, capping off the Quakers eight-run inning.

Penn added one more run in the sixth. Matt got on base with a leadoff single and utilized crafty baserunning to get on third. Larsen singled to right, bringing the junior in to score.

The offense rolled into the seventh. Hernandez doubled up the left side to plate Malinowski and send McGeagh to third, and an error by the Knights' left fielder plated McGeagh to make it 13-2. A bases-loaded walk for Larsen brought in Penn's 14th run of the game to close out the inning.

Penn tacked on two more in the eighth, just for good measure. With the bases loaded, Matt grounded into a fielder's choice allowing McGeagh to score. A picture-perfect bunt by Phelan made it 16-2 to cap off an offensive masterclass for the Quakers.
