HOW IT HAPPENED
The Quakers got on the board early. In the top of the second, O'Neill hit a two-run opposite field bomb over the right field wall. Penn's active home run leader now has 17 in his career.

Penn kept it going in the fifth inning. Malinowski started the scoring with a solo homer over the left field wall. The dinger was his first of the season and third of his career. McGeagh kept it going for the Quakers with a single past the short stop. He stole second and reached third on a balk, then was brought home after a picture-perfect bunt by Courtney to make it 4-0.

Matt brought Petersen to the plate with a single into right field, and Courtney scored on a Phelan sac fly to center to make it 6-0 through five.

The Quakers upped the anti with six runs in the sixth inning. Malinowski started the inning with a double deep to left center. He stole third and scored after an errant throw to third by the catcher putting Penn up 7-0.

McGeagh followed Malinowski with a double of his own. An RBI single by Petersen to right field allowed McGeagh to round third and score. Matt and Courtney each singled to load the bags, and Phelan walked to bring in the Quakers' ninth run of the game.

Larsen continued the high-scoring inning with a two-RBI single to right center, scoring Matt and Courtney to put Penn up 11-0. Malinowski capped off the inning after taking a pitch into the shoulder with the bases loaded to plate Phelan.

Miller pitched his final frame in the bottom of the sixth, continuing to shut out Lehigh. He fanned two batters in the frame to bring his strikeout count to five on the day. The freshman hurler leads Penn with 19 Ks in four appearances and 15.0 innings of work.

Lehigh pulled two back in the eighth on a fielder's choice with runners on the corners and a single up the middle. Penn responded in the ninth with another run, as Petersen tagged up after Matt flied out to the right fielder in foul territory.
