NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 6 University of Pennsylvania women's squash team fell in its opener of the Howe Cup on Friday afternoon to No. 3 Trinity.
Reeham Salah recorded Penn's lone victory at the number one slot, winning 3-0.
How it Happened
The Quakers went up against Trinity for the second time this season, this time at their Howe Cup opener. The Red and Blue fell 8-1 earlier this year at the Kline and Specter Squash Center and suffered the same result on Friday.
Similar to the first match between the Quakers and Bantams, it was Salah recording the only win for Penn. The senior came away with an 11-5, 11-5, 11-3, victory.
Penn will play Columbia in the consolation semifinals on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The Quakers defeated Columbia in the final weekend of Ivy League play, 5-4, on the road.
