PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team is set to cap a busy slate of events for Penn Athletics on Saturday, Nov. 9, hosting Princeton in its final home match of the season at 7 p.m. The Quakers will honor their senior class prior to kickoff against the Tigers.

The Quakers enter Saturday's match in search of their first win over the Tigers since a 2-1 result in 2013. The last three meetings between the two schools have gone into overtime, featuring a 2-2 draw in 2016 and two 2-1 victories in extra minutes for Princeton in both 2017 and 2018. Last year,

Defender of the Week
Alex Touche was named Defender of the Week by the Philadelphia Soccer Six on Monday following his goal scored last weekend against Brown. The Quaker center back has two goals this season and eight in his career with the Red and Blue.

The Quakers are among four Ivy League teams in the top-100 of the national RPI, checking in at 91st.
Good Times in Overtime
The Quakers are unbeaten in their last six overtime matches, including three victories in that span over Harvard last season and Drexel and #24 Yale this year.
Bhangdia's Boot
Joey Bhangdia ranks second in the Ivy League with six goals this season, while tied for first with three game-winning scores. He leads Penn with 12 points, followed by six from Bartel who has two goals and two assists.
Sub-One Average
Penn boasts a sub-one goals against average on the year for the second-straight season, with 13 goals allowed in 14 games. Sophomore goalkeeper
Dane Jacomen ranks second in the Ivy League in GAA and the Quakers are second in the conference with five shutouts this year.
Scouting the Tigers
After starting the season 1-2, the defending Ivy League champion Princeton has maintained a high level of success since, unbeaten in its last seven matches dating back to Oct. 5. In non-conference play, both Penn and Princeton have picked up wins over Monmouth and Drexel, while the Tigers took down Lehigh, compared to a 2-1 loss to the Mountain Hawks for the Quakers. Freshman Walker Gillespie leads the way for the Tigers, owning 15 points on seven goals and an assist, while collectively Princeton has scored 32 goals, allowing 18. Jacob Schachner and Jack Roberts have both spent time in goal for the Tigers.
