PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's men's squash team (2-0, 0-0) heads out on their first road trip of the season, following a Pennsylvania State Championship victory. The Quakers will face #9 George Washington (1-2) on Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by a trip to face #16 Navy (4-3) on Sunday at 12 p.m.
Previewing Penn
After opening the season with back-to-back wins against Dickinson (9-0) and #11 Drexel (6-3), the Quakers are off to a hot start and looking to carry the momentum on the road. 2018-19 First Team All-American
Andrew Douglas made his return to the lineup against Drexel after resting against Dickinson and didn't skip a beat. The junior turned in an impressive comeback, down 0-2 in the match to defeat his talented opponent from Drexel 3-2.
The Quakers have two players who have yet to drop a game this season, as senior captain
David Yacobucci and freshman
Saksham Choudhary are on an early roll. The duo turned in early wins in the #4 and #5 positions in the lineup against Dickinson but moved down for Douglas and
Yash Bhargava, clamping down to win two key matches against Drexel.
Should Yacobucci's undefeated streak continue, he has an opportunity to win his 40th career victory against Navy. Douglas can also record his 30th career victory, in just a little over two incredible seasons in college squash.
#3 Penn at #9 George Washington – Saturday, 11 a.m.
