Dartmouth On Tap for Men's Soccer Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - Back to the Ivy League goes the University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team, as the Quakers host Dartmouth on Rhodes Field at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.

MATCH DAY 11 - Dartmouth (4-5-1, 1-1 Ivy League) at Penn (4-4-2, 1-0-1 Ivy League)
Saturday, Oct. 19 | 5:00 p.m. | Rhodes Field | Live Stats | ESPN+

Series Information
Penn leads 31-27-8 | Last meeting: 2018 (Dartmouth, 3-1)

While the Quakers hold the lead in the all-time series, Penn is seeking its first victory over the Big Green since a 2-1 victory in Hanover in 2014. Penn's last win on Rhodes Field over Dartmouth came the preceding year, a 3-0 win for the Red and Blue.

Top-100
Rookie Kai Lammers was named one of the top-100 freshmen in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer this season. Lammers has started in nine of Penn's 10 games and scored a goal in his career-opener at Monmouth.

Leading the League
Following his goal Sunday afternoon at Columbia, Joey Bhangdia leads the Ivy League with six goals scored in 10 games this fall. His six goals are the most for a Penn player since Joe Swenson netted seven in 2017 and the most scored in the opening 10 games of the year since Alec Neumann tallied six in the first eight games in 2016.

Looking Up
The Quakers are off to their best start in the Ivy League since 2013 at 1-0-1 through the first two games. Penn's result against Columbia was its first against the Lions since 2013.

Killer Kohlbrenner
Jake Kohlbrenner has been vital for the Penn offense to start conference play, helping out with one assist in each of Penn's first two games.

Making Strides
The Quakers have 10 goals in 10 games this year. Last year, it took Penn 14 games to reach the 10-goal threshold.

Keepin' it Clean
Penn ranks 10th nationally and leads the Ivy League averaging under 10 fouls committed per game, limiting set piece opportunities for its opponents.

Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green enter the weekend at 4-5-1 overall with one win and one loss in the Ivy League. Two of Dartmouth's losses have come to ranked opponents, while the Big Green own a win over Michigan State earlier this season. Dawson McCartney leads the team with 10 points on three goals and four assists, but Dartmouth features a balanced offensive attack as 13 different players have scored at least once, combining for 17 goals on the year. The Big Green have conceded 16 goals with Alex Budnik in the net, featuring a .719 save percentage.
