Women's Squash Continues Ivy League Play at Princeton

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 5 University of Pennsylvania women's squash team (7-2, 1-1 Ivy) returns to Ivy League action on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) when it heads to Princeton to face the No. 1 Tigers (9-0, 2-0 Ivy). It is all Ivy League from here on out for the Quakers as they wrapped up non-conference play last weekend against No. 3 Trinity and Colby.

Previewing Penn
Penn split last weekend, losing to Trinity before bouncing back with a 9-0 sweep over Colby. Reeham Salah earned the lone win for the Quakers against the Bantams and then lost just a single point against the Mules.
The defending CSA National Champion is a perfect 9-0 this season and has yet to lose a game. In each of her last three matches, she's won a game by the score of 11-0.

Wednesday will mark the Red and Blue's third Ivy League match of the season. The Quakers split Ivy matches two weeks ago, falling to No. 4 Yale before finishing the weekend with a 5-4 win over No. 10 Brown. Penn has had no problems under pressure this season as it is undefeated in 5-4 matches.

The Quakers will play their final five matches over the next 12 days. It all begins Wednesday at Princeton and then wraps up at Columbia on February 10.

Series Information
Record: Princeton leads, 44-13 | Last meeting: January 31, 2018 (Princeton, 6-3).

Wednesday's match will be the 58th meeting between the Quakers and Tigers. Princeton edged Penn in a close match, 6-3, last season at Ringe. The two teams then met once again in the Potter Cup with Princeton once again winning, 6-3.

Princeton is ranked No. 1 in the nation and is a perfect 9-0 this season. The Tigers have top-10 wins over No. 3 Trinity, No. 4 Yale, No. 6 Stanford, No. 8 Drexel, and No. 10 Brown.
