PHILADELPHIA - Coming off an unbeaten weekend at Rhodes Field to open the season, the University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team is set for its first road trip, traveling to America's Dairyland for two games in Milwaukee. The Quakers will first face Marquette on Friday, September 7 at 8:05 p.m., before squaring off against UW-Milwaukee on Sunday, September 9 at 8 p.m. on ESPN+.

Previewing Penn
The Quakers own a record of 1-0-1 heading into their trip to the Midwest, after notching a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory over Monmouth to open the year, following up with a scoreless draw in the University City Derby against Drexel. Penn's win over Monmouth featured its highest goal tally in a season opener since 1984, while Sunday's draw was the first against the Dragons since 1967.

Jerel Blades leads the Red and Blue with three points on the year, notching both a goal and an assist in Penn's victory over the Hawks. Sophomores
Joey Bhangdia and

Series History
Penn and Marquette have battled just once before, as the Quakers took a trip to Milwaukee to open the 2008 season, settling for a 0-0 tie in double overtime.
Similarly, Penn has faced the Panthers one time in program history, falling in overtime on the road, 2-1, in 2004.
Scouting the Golden Eagles
Marquette enters Friday's matchup with a 2-1 overall record, sporting dominating wins over Valparaiso and Central Arkansas to open the season, before suffering a 3-1 setback at Saint Louis on Tuesday. Lukas Sunesson leads the squad with three goals on the year, while five different Golden Eagles have found the back of the net. Picked to finish sixth in the BIG EAST, Marquette is currently receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
Scouting the Panthers
UW-Milwaukee is 2-1 after its first two weekends of play, owning victories over Western Illinois and Ohio State, with a loss to Dayton. The Panthers are set to play Valparaiso on Friday in their home opener before kicking off against the Quakers on Sunday. Five different players have found the back of the net so far for Milwaukee, and the Panthers have already posted two shutouts in both of their wins. Milwaukee was picked to finish fourth in the Horizon League.
