The Series
The Quakers and the Bison are meeting for the 17th time but the first since 2012; Penn holds an 11-5 lead in the series. The teams split games in 2011 (Penn winning at home 11-3) and in 2012 (Bucknell winning 8-3 in Lewisburg, Pa.), and they also split a four-game set from 2004-07.

About Bucknell
The Bison (5-2) have beaten Holy Cross and Boston University in Patriot League play their last two games. Bucknell also lost to Navy 13-8, a team that Penn beat on a neutral field 11-3. Will Sands is the Bison's leading scorer, he has 28 assists and 42 points. Connor O'Hara (20 goals) and Sean O'Brien (19) have been the beneficiary of Sands' dishing, as has Tommy Sopko (12 goals). Reed Malas also is in double digits in the points category, with 13 (8g, 5a). At the other end, Christian Klipstein has a .484 save percentage and a 9.81 goals-against average.

About Penn
*Penn has two players on this year's Tewaaraton Award Watch List, senior Connor Keating and junior Simon Mathias.

*Mathias continues to lead the Quakers with 20 points (13g, 7a) after scoring three times on Saturday at Princeton. In addition, his point-scoring streak is up to 35 games which is every game of his college career.

*Junior Tyler Dunn has scored five goals in each of Penn's last two games (3/10 vs. Villanova, 3/17 at Princeton) and is now the team leader in that category for the season with 15.

*Senior Kevin McGeary, who led the Penn attack in its 10-9 win over then-No. 1 Duke on February 24, has 17 points so far this season with 13 goals (including two at Princeton) and four assists.

*Adam Goldner scored once at Princeton and has eight on the season, as well as an assist.

*Senior Reilly Hupfeldt (4g, 3a) has seven points this season, while freshman Sean Lulley (3g, 3a) and junior Joe Licciardi (2g, 4a) have six each.

*Penn has had two long poles score this season, as All-America candidate Keating scored against Michigan—amazingly, his 29th career goal—while Jack Ullrich tallied against Maryland. In the Duke win, Keating had two assists including a feed on the winner.

*Overall, Penn has had 14 different goal scorers this season—they had seven on Saturday at Princeton—and 17 players record at least a point.

*At the other end, junior Reed Junkin—the 2016 co-Ivy League Rookie of the Year with teammate Mathias—has a .575 save percentage and an 8.00 goals against average after he came up with a career-high 20 saves and allowed just seven goals Saturday at Princeton.

*The Quakers return their top 11 scorers from last season. Of the 147 goals scored by the Quakers a year ago, all but six were scored by players who return to this year's roster.

*Keating was a third-team USILA All-America selection last year after earning honorable mention recognition as a sophomore. He is the top-scoring LSM in the country, entering the season with 28 goals and six assists for 34 career points.

*Mathias—who led Penn in goals (28), assists (20) and points (48) last year—was a second-team All-Ivy selection last year after sharing Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors in 2016 with Junkin.

*McGeary (23-12—35 in 2017) and Dunn (18-4—22) received honorable mention All-Ivy recognition last year.

*Three other players had a double-digit goal total last year: senior Hupfeldt (18), Goldner (11), and Keating. Roesner nearly joined the list, with nine goals.

*Santangelo was Penn's top face-off man last year, finishing with a .528 win percentage in 231 draws. Richie Lenskold had 73 faceoffs and had a .479 win percentage.
