PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania track and field programs are set for another packed weekend around the country with the bulk of the Quakers competing in Staten Island, N.Y. at the Villanova Invitational, while both the high jumpers and pole vaulters will take the stage in Ohio at the Akron Invitational. Katie DeVore,
Mikayla Schneider and
Maddie Villalba will highlight the weekend at the prestigious Millrose Games in the 4x800m relay on Saturday, Feb. 3.
The Quakers will run against global competition at the Millrose Games, the world's largest-running and most prestigious indoor track and field competition, as Team USA and Team Jamaica will be in attendance to attempt a world record. Akins, DeVore, Schneider and Villalba will hit the starting blocks at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, broadcast live on NBC Sports.
In Ohio,
Anna Peyton Malizia will represent the Red and Blue in women's high jump, while Mike Monroe, Lance Yassay and Ian Kirk will attempt to lead to new heights for the men. In pole vault, Penn will send

Nicole Macco,
Zoe Early and
Monica Benz from the women's squad and Sean Clarke from the men.
The rest of the Quakers will be in familiar territory at the Ocean Breeze Complex in New York. Penn visited the track in Staten Island at the Penn 8-Team Select on Jan. 20. The women have already broken three school records this season in the 400m, the 4x400m relay and the weight throw. The men have set a new school record this season from Clarke's pole vault clearance of 5.30m, while also displaying balance in both sprint and distance success as freshman Marvin Morgan has risen to second all-time in the 60m, with Kevin Monogue, Chris Luciano and Colin Daly leading the ranks in the 3,000m, and mile.
