PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania head coach of men's squash, Gilly Lane, has announced his recruiting class of 2023. Hailing from the United States and India, the class includes junior national squash champion Choudhary Saksham, Tushar Shahani, and Dillon Huang. These men will join the program in 2019-20.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Dillon, Tushar, and Saksham to the Penn Men's Squash class of 2023," said Lane. "We have been targeting these three individuals for quite some time and are ecstatic that they have chosen Penn to further their education. Each of these individuals has competed on the world stage with all three representing their country at the World Juniors, Asian Juniors, and the prestigious British Junior Open. Not only will these three student-athletes provide instant depth to an already deep team, but they all have the characteristics of the student-athlete that we want on our team and at Penn. We add these three at a very exciting time, as they will be the first class to play all four years in our newly renovated facility."
