CANTON, N.Y. - The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team earned its second straight top-five victory of the weekend as they took down No. 4 St. Lawrence 7-2 to wrap up the first half of the season. The Quakers move to 6-0 for the first time since 2015 and won't be back in action until after the new year.
How it Happened
Looking for their second straight top-five win of the weekend, the Quakers stayed in upstate New York to play No. 4 St. Lawrence. After several tight matches on Saturday, Penn won six of its seven matches via sweep.
Wil Hagen got the Red and Blue on the board early at number eight. Hagen lost just nine points in what was an impressive 11-5, 11-0, 11-4 sweep.

James Flynn followed suit to put Penn up a commanding 3-0 overall.
For the second day in a row, sophomore
Yash Bhargava clinched the match for the Quakers. Bhargava came out firing in the first game, winning 11-1. He then took the second and third by the score of 11-8 to win 3-0 and put his team up 5-0.
Aly Abou Eleinen toughed out his match in five games. The freshman jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but fell 11-3 and 12-10 in the third and fourth. Eleinen regained his footing in the fifth, taking the final game 11-7.
What's Next
With the win over St. Lawrence, the Quakers begin the season 6-0 for the first time since 2015. Penn will be back in action on January 12 when Ivy League play begins at Yale.
