Series Information
Penn leads 48-44-10 | Last meeting: 2017 (Princeton, 2-1 OT)

The Quakers maintain the slight edge over the Tigers, with 102 meetings between the two sides. Despite the advantage, Penn is seeking its first win over Princeton since a 2-1 victory on Rhodes Field in 2013, having lost three of the last four matches against its Garden State rival. Last year saw a 1-1 draw at halftime continue past regulation, before the Tigers pounced for the golden-goal winner in the 94th minute. Penn's last trip to Princeton resulted in a dramatic 2-2 back-and-forth draw. A win on Saturday would be the Quakers' first at Princeton since 2006.

Kohlbrenner Catching Fire
The Quakers have picked up their offense of late, scoring five goals in their last four games, spurred in large part by sophomore Jake Kohlbrenner. The East Syracuse, N.Y. native has netted three goals in the last four games for Penn, each of which was decidedly important in the ultimate result of the match. Against Yale, Kohlbrenner poked through an equalizer in the 84th minute as the Quakers ultimately played the Bulldogs to a double-overtime draw. Against Brown, he blasted home the golden-goal winner in the 101st minute to give Penn its first Ivy League victory of the season, and last time out against Delaware, he set up shop in nearly the same location as he did against the Bears, giving Penn the 1-0 lead as the Red and Blue would prevail 2-1 against the Blue Hens.

Rovito the Rookie of the Week
Freshman Anthony Rovito was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week following his first collegiate point last weekend, notching an assist in Penn's victory over Brown. Rovito was part of the first goal of the game for the Quakers in the 56th minute, crossing a ball into the box and finding sophomore Alex Touche to head it home.

Lending a Helping Hand... Or Foot
Junior captain Brandon Bartel has been key for the Quakers in its set piece opportunities, constructing nearly ever corner and free kick this season. The Fleming Island, Fla. native now boasts four points on the year, all on assists. Each of Bartel's assists this season have resulted in either a game-winning or equalizing score.

Strong Play from Scott
Senior goalkeeper Scott Forbes has played all 1,416 minutes and change in the cage for the Red and Blue, and is boasting his most successful season to date. Penn's six shutouts on the year are its most since 2013 and Forbes' save percentage of .835 ranks 11th in the country.

Leigh Gives Penn the Lead
Freshman Matt Leigh was yet another rookie for Penn making his impact late in the season, coming through with the game-winning goal for the Quakers against Delaware. Sophomore Joey Bhangdia connected with Erumuse Momoh on the left flank from midfield, who drove the ball down into the box and sent in a low cross that found Leigh who hammered it home.

Good Times in Overtime
Three of Penn's four wins this season have come in dramatic, golden-goal, overtime victories. The Quakers opened the season with a 3-2 win over Monmouth, netting the game winner in the first overtime period. Just a week later, Penn shocked Marquette, 1-0, scoring again in the opening period of extra play. True to form, last weekend Penn upended Brown with a score just 49 seconds into the second overtime period for its first Ivy League win. Penn's first victory in regulation came in Tuesday's match, a 2-1 win over Delaware.

Scouting the Tigers
Princeton enters Saturday's match atop the Ivy League table with 13 points, just once point ahead of Columbia with two games to play. The Tigers have picked up the pace since starting conference play, boasting a seven-match unbeaten streak with wins over Brown, St. John's, Columbia, Harvard and No. 22 Cornell, with draws against Dartmouth and Drexel. Senior Sean McSherry leads an offense that has scored 19 goals on the year with 12 points, followed by sophomore Kevin O'Toole with 11. Those two, plus Gaby Paniagua and Jeremy Colvin, have each scored four goals on the year. Jacob Schachner has played the lion's share of minutes in between the pipes, sporting a sub-zero GAA with a save percentage of nearly 80 percent.
