Wrestling Announces Recruiting Class of 2021

PHILADELPHIA – Penn Wrestling will add six newcomers for the 2017-18 season as announced by Alex Tirapelle, the Roger Reina Head Coach of Wrestling.

The Quakers will add three grapplers from New Jersey, and one each from Georgia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as Tirapelle prepares his squad for his fourth season as head coach of the Quakers.

“We are thrilled to welcome these eight men to our program,” said Tirapelle. “This group has excelled at all levels and brings a wealth of championship experience to our program. Each has a true passion for the sport and has continued to develop along the way. Not only have these eight won big matches already in their careers, they have the potential – and more importantly, the desire – to keep getting better. I am excited to watch this growth as part of our program.”
