I am writing to make sure you were aware of the event that Barclays Capital is hosting at Penn on December 5th for student-athletes (see below).
Barclays Capital employs a large number of athletes from the University of Pennsylvania and we hope to continue that trend despite the difficult job markets. Peter Coleman, W’83, a former Penn Lacrosse player who runs our Municipal Bond department, has been organizing this event for many years as a laid back venue for Penn student athletes to learn about Barclays Capital and what it takes to start a career in the world of finance.
We encourage everyone from freshmen to seniors to attend.

Who is Dataforma? (also see attached pdf)
Dataforma is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company based in York, PA. We work with hundreds of the top commercial and residential roofing professionals to streamline and standardize their front-end business processes via our web-based management database. We are also developing an integrated, industry-specific, back-end accounting package to “have it all” in a single cloud application. At Dataforma, we strive to be the anti-software company by learning the industry, proactively encouraging our users to utilize more of the database, and transforming user feedback into future system development. The end goal is simple, save our users time & money!
Our Story
Dataforma started 8 years ago from an actual commercial roofing contractor tired of redundant spreadsheets & unrelated software programs. We have leveraged this inside knowledge in every facet of our business specifically sales, development, and training/implementation. We have a young corporate culture with half the staff under the age of 30. This includes a tremendous support staff at the main office, and now we need more road warriors ready to travel the country.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting self-motivated individuals to help fuel our growth & enhance our customer experience. New hires will learn the industry and the Dataforma system by shadowing our existing salespeople & on-site trainers. The travel is non-stop, coast to coast across the US. As a rapidly growing company, we are always accepting resumes for the following positions:
Training & Implementation Consultant Implementation is the most critical part of any new system, so we sell our training/consulting service as part of the package. This includes online phone consultations to prep for live training, live training, inside sales to add users & expand functionality, and post-training follow-up. The goal is to develop SOPs and refine internal processes within Dataforma to facilitate growth, improve efficiency, and strengthen customer relationships. The challenge is no two companies use the system the same, and since we are always releasing new functionality, the implementation process is never finished.
