Dear Penn Relays Patron,
Thank you for your support of the Penn Relays, the oldest and largest annual relay carnival in the world. Once again the University of Pennsylvania is proud to host this prestigious event at historic Franklin Field on April 28 - 30, 2011. Last year we were proud to welcome Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder, Usain Bolt, to the Relays as a competitor. This year we hope that you remain a loyal fan of the 117th running of the Penn Relays as we continue to host some of the finest athletes.
As part of Penn's continuing sustainability efforts for the Relays, we ask that you provide us with an email address, to be used for all Relays communication. This will allow for faster and more reliable interactions as well as cutting down on paper usage. Please note that this will be the final year that you'll receive paper correspondence through the mail from the Penn Relays; this includes ticket invoices and information. Please make sure to periodically login into your Quaker E-pass account to update your contact information including your email address or, if you are having problems, contact the Penn Ticket Office and we'll be happy to help.
As part of Penn’s continuing sustainability efforts, we strongly advise you to avoid the traffic and parking hassles by riding SEPTA to the Penn Relays this year. SEPTA Regional Rail trains serve University City Station across the street from Franklin Field and four trolley routes are nearby. SEPTA Independence Passes, for an individual ($11) or a Family ($28) (1 or 2 adults and 3 or 4 under 18’s) allow unlimited rides on all trolleys, trains and buses. Renewal Process for 2011 Penn Relays:
1) If interested in the 2011 Penn Relays log on your account at ThePennRelays.com or call __________ to pay for your current order. At this time you should only pay for tickets you have on account that does not exceed the total number you have on your current invoice. For additional tickets or relocation request read the New Procedure below.
**If a change will be requested please use a credit card to pay the invoice so changes can be completed.
2) The deadline to renew your current ticket order is FEBRUARY 28, 2011. Please make sure to submit payment by this date for your seats or the tickets will be RELEASED at 5pm on February 28, 2011.
**If tickets are not renewed by February 28st we hope that you still join us and order your tickets when they go on-sale March 21st.
NEW PROCEDURE:
Those who have a renewed ticket account can request additional tickets or ask to be relocated. Contact the ticket office the week of March 7-11, when all paid accounts have been processed and determination can be made regarding specific locations. This new policy will assist to better serve all patrons.
