Luis Roman has been a part of the Penn Community since 2019, beginning his journey with the inaugural gameday staff under the guidance of Mike Martin and Kathryn Yannes. Since then, he has held multiple positions within UPenn, allowing him to challenge himself and broaden his network across the university. Currently, he is a Membership Assistant within Penn Campus Rec, after assisting Penn Squash, Penn Athletics, and Campus Health as a Campus Wellness and Athletics Assistant.
In this role, he responds to membership inquiries, provides excellent customer service, processes sales, and produces and manages content for Campus Recreation's digital marketing efforts. Luis found a passion for marketing while at Penn Campus Recreation and has led the marketing efforts within the department. He has created marketing plans, generated content across four platforms, and worked across different internal and external departments to ensure that they have a social media presence that reflects the Campus Community. Luis looks forward to expanding his marketing abilities through professional development and self-learning.
