Gabriel Clark was hired in 2021 with Penn Campus Recreation, transitioning from Recreation Assistant to Facilities Operations Coordinator in 2023 for Pottruck Health & Fitness Center, Fox Fitness Center, and Sheer Pool. In his role he oversees the daily operation of all campus recreation facilities and services including: enforce all policies & procedures related to the campus facilities, assist with assessing and training staff, serve as a customer service point person via facilities and membership sales, fitness equipment management, regular risk management checks of facility, and monitor a shared email containing temporary staff schedules & sub requests.

In 2021, the Philadelphia native earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports & Recreation Management with a concentration in Governance & Policy at Temple University becoming a first generation graduate in his immediate family. He was able to maximize his knowledge of sport and recreation through internships and job occupations with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Temple University’s Athletic Department.

Born and raised in the inner city of Philadelphia, sports and recreation is at the root of his growth as an individual. In high school he participated in varsity basketball, various sports leagues around his neighborhood and played AAU basketball during the summer. He is a Philadelphia fanatic when it comes to professional sports and loves to exercise and play basketball during his off days with friends and family.
