Joe Haughey is in his tenth year with Penn Athletics and his fifth as Assistant AD, Business Development in 2024-25. He spent the previous five years as the Director of Business Development for Penn Athletics. In his role, he organizes events external to Penn Athletics and has oversight for Coaches Camps and Clinics.
Haughey arrived at Penn after four year as the Director of Summer Programs and Rentals at the Valley Forge Military Academy and College. Previously, he was the Graduate Assistant for Structured Sports at his alma mater, Kutztown University, for two years.
A Richboro, Pa. native, Haughey graduated from Kutztown in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in history and received his master's from Kutztown in public administration in 2009. As an undergraduate, Haughey was a cross country and track student-athlete for four seasons. He has successfully completed the Boston Marathon as well.Â
