Lauren Procopio is in her sixth year at Penn and her first as the Associate AD, Pottruck Center for Student-Athlete Success in 2023-24.
 
In her current role, she oversees day-to-day operations of the center, including academic services, professional development and personal enrichment, and admissions and financial aid. She also serves as the secondary sport administrator for swimming and diving.

Most recently, Procopio completed a certificate program in Applied Positive Psychology at the University in Pennsylvania in 2020 and was a graduating member of Women Leaders in College Sport Institute of Administrative Advancement in June 2020.
 
In her previous role as the Student Development Coordinator, Procopio oversaw and supervised tutoring efforts, educated student-athletes on the various resources available, conducted regular 1-on-1 meeting with student-athletes, and arranged workshops and events within Student Development. She completed the N4A Professional Development Institute Leader/Manager Track in June 2018.

Prior to Penn, Procopio spent two years as the Student-Athlete Resources Specialist and Senior Woman Administrator at Tiffin University, where she also earned her master's degree in Business Administration. She was also an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Millersville University for two seasons.

She received her bachelor's degree in Sport and Recreation from Temple University in 2012 where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and all-conference defender in women's lacrosse.
 
Procopio’s husband, Matt, is the head women’s soccer coach at Millersville. They reside in West Chester, Pa.
