Biography

2010-11: Team Captain ... Second-team All-American ... All-Ivy Selection ... 13-4 overall, including a 6-0 record in the Ivy League ... Named College Squash Association (CSA) Player of the Week following her victory against Princeton, which sealed a 5-4 team victory (1/29) ... Started the season with six consecutive 3-0 sweeps ... Played the majority of her matches at number three, but was also 5-0 at number four ... Went 2-1 at Howe Cup with wins over Stanford and Dartmouth ... Went 1-2 in the Ramsay Division at CSA Individual Championships, advancing to the Round of 16 .... 11 of her victories came in three-game sweeps ... Finished the season ranked 14th in the CSA Individual Rankings.

2009-10: Went 17-3 overall (5-1 Ivy League), playing primarily at the No. 7 position but as high as No. 5 ... Won 11 consecutive matches to start the season, dropping just one game during the run ... Did not surrender a single point in her match against Amherst (1/16) ... Went 2-1 at the Howe Cup, including a 3-2 win against Harvard (2/28) in the national title match ... Advanced to the semifinals of the Holleran Division at the CSA Individual Championships.

2008-09: Went 11-2 overall, 6-2 in the Ivy League, playing primarily at No. 6 position, but as high as No. 4 ... Won her match in Penn's 5-4 win at Yale (12/6) and against Trinity (1/24) ... Went 2-1 at the Howe Cup ... Finished the season ranked No. 34 in the nation. 

2007-08: Completed an undefeated regular season with a team-best 12-0 record primarily from the Nos. 6 and 7 positions ... Went 6-0 in the Ivy League, helping Penn capture the title ... Lost just two games in Ivy League play ... Went 2-1 at Howe Cup, winning the first match of the day in the semifinal against Trinity (2/23) to help propel the Quakers to their first Howe Cup final in eight years.

High School: Four year letterwinner in squash and tennis at the Episcopal Academy ... captain of the squash team her senior year, leading her team to a victory at the High School Nationals ... won Inter-AC championship all four years of high school ... won Team Cup in her senior season ... also captained the tennis team her junior and senior seasons ... won Inter-AC championship her freshman and sophomore seasons in tennis.

Personal: Daughter of Harriet and Gary Madeira ... enrolled in the School of Arts and Sciences.
