Steigelman was hired as an assistant women’s soccer coach by Dr. Turner in the fall of 2022.
Steigelman arrived in University City following a two-year stint at Saint Joseph’s University as the Director of Men’s Soccer. He arrived on Hawk Hill in 2018, where he coordinated and directed summer camps throughout locations in Philadelphia and South Jersey and was responsible for providing in-depth scouting reports on opponents.
Prior to his stop at Saint Joseph’s, Steigelman served as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Holy Family University from 2016-2018, where he helped guide the Tigers to a 36-18-4 record.
Steigelman currently serves as the Club Girls Director and Head Coach of the Ukrainian National Soccer Club, since 2014, where he is the academy coach and has led two teams to the National Semifinals.
Steigelman played professionally for the MASL Harrisburg Heat from 2016-18, and then signed with the MASL Rochester Lancers from 2018-19, where he garnered team offensive MVP, League first-team All MASL, led the team in points and led the league in assists.
In addition, Steigelman obtained his United States Federation National “C” license.
A 2015 graduate of Cabrini University, Steigelman was a two-year team captain, where he earned his bachelor's degree in education.
