Meg Waldron

Meg Waldron joins the Quakers from a background in Sport Psychology, teaching, and coaching. She has coached numerous high school All-Americans, and earned both a PA governor’s citation and WHYY American Graduate Champion Award for work developing youth sports. While at The Philadelphia School, Waldron played a key role in developing the athletic department and a school-wide mindfulness program.

In college Waldron competed on a track scholarship at the University of Virginia, and completed her MS in Sport Psychology from Temple University in 2015.

Previously, Waldron was a NJ high school track All-American and ran the fastest time in Penn Relays history for a girls 800m leg. In 2000, she was selected as one of NJ’s top 10 female athletes of the 20th century.
