Jake Silverman will be entering his 14th year at Penn in 2021-22. He is in his third year as Associate Athletic Director, Operations following two years as the Assistant Athletic Director, Admissions and Financial Aid. He began his career at Penn by serving eight seasons with the football program as Director of Operations and Assistant AD/Operations.
During his time at Penn, Jake has served as the Sport Administrator for 13 different programs, currently serving Penn's football, golf, squash and tennis programs.

On campus, Jake serves as the Athletics liaison for Penn Residential Services and Penn Dining.

In addition, Jake provides oversight to Penn’s 35 active club sports and membership Racquet Centers, including the newly renovated Penn Squash Center and serves as a member of the Penn Recreation Management Team. Jake also provides oversight to Business Development areas, responsible for over 200 internal and external events annually, as well as athletic camps and clinics.

He is also responsible for managing external partnerships with Athletics exclusive concessions and catering provider, Aramark, as well as the Athletics liaison for University beverage sponsor, Coca Cola.
Silverman graduated from Syracuse University in 2008 where he served as the football operations intern and as a Student Assistant Coach for the defensive line. He also worked as an intern at the Philadelphia Eagles training camp in the summers of 2005 and 2007 and as a marketing intern for Comcast SportsNet in the summer of 2004.
Silverman earned his Master's degree from Penn in 2012 in Organizational Dynamics, earning additional certifications in Organizational Leadership, and Organizational Development and Change.

Silverman resides in Philadelphia with his wife Maura, daughter Keira, and son, Colin.
