Karen Siegel

Karen Siegel joined the University of Pennsylvania women’s golf program as an assistant coach in the fall of 2018 after five years as an assistant coach for the Lehigh University women’s golf team.
 
A Penn graduate, Siegel has spent most of her career as a Senior Executive in Human Resources. She has served in leadership positions as an Executive Board Member of the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia, Tournament Chair for Women Golfers Give Back, and Tournament Chair for Commonwealth National Golf Club. Currently, she serves as a member of the Commonwealth National Golf Club Board of Governors and a J Wood Platt Caddie Trust Club Director.
 
One of the area’s top amateur golfers, Siegel brings a wealth of knowledge and years of competing in local, regional and national events. She won the Silver Cross as Philadelphia’s Amateur Player of the Year two years in a row along with numerous other regional tournaments and top-5 finishes. Siegel continues to compete at the Amateur level, qualifying and competing in seven USGA Championships.
 
Siegel is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with a focus in sports nutrition. In addition to coaching, she works as a consultant analyzing, recommending and managing solutions to various Human Resource initiatives and business strategies.
