Biography
Career: Two-time Ivy League champion ... Served as a tight end and on special teams for the Quakers ... Played in two games for the 2009 Ivy title team, seeing time in wins over Princeton (11/7/09) and Cornell (11/21/09) ... Played in four games for the 2010 Ivy title team which were all Penn wins-Dartmouth (10/2/10), at Bucknell (10/9/10), Harvard (11/13/10) and the season finale at Cornell (11/20/10).
2009: Played in two games ... Saw time in win over Princeton (Nov. 7) and in the season-finale against Cornell (Nov. 21).
2008: Did not see any varsity game action.
2007: Did not see any varsity game action.
Casady School: Was a four-year letterwinner and served as captain on the football, soccer and track teams ... Helped lead the football team to a Southwest Preparatory Conference Championship in 2006 and the soccer team to a Southwest Preparatory Conference Championship in 2007 ... Was a member of the student council, discipline committee and French club.
Personal: Son of Mary and Steve Sims ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
