2006 second-team All-Ivy (4x100 relay)
A two-sport athlete for the Quakers, Joey Brown has quickly emerged as one of the most complete athletes in the Ivy League. He is a big-meet performer who peaks at just the right time, as evidenced by all of his PRs coming during the conference meet. Look for Joey to have a breakout season in 2007. He placed third in the 100 at Outdoor Heps and anchored the relay team to a runner-up finish at those same championships. His superb explosiveness will allow him to develop into one of the top sprinters on the East Coast in the next few years. With Brown and Benjamin being groomed by senior teammate Grafton Ifill, look for Penn to continue to be on top of the sprints in the Ivy League for years to come. Brown also plays football for Penn.
