2006 Indoor Heptagonal Champion (4x800 relay)A highly touted recruit coming out of New Jersey in 2004, Scotland immediately made his impact on the league. He already has the seventh-best time ever in the 800 meters-not bad, considering athletes have been running that event at Penn for over 110 years. He knows he still has a long way to go if he wants to match former NCAA champion and 2003 graduate Sam Burley's time of 1:45.39. Look for Scotland to lead the middle distance group along with Guzman, Howell, Kaijala, and Schmiett as they try to repeat as 4x800 relay champions at the Indoor Heptagonals. Also look for Brian to extend more of his efforts to the 1,000 and 1,500 in his sophomore campaign. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
